fractal world...

Walking with Gracie...she is so full of...it. Life, energy. She found a pine cone and carried it gently in her genetically engineered jaws as if it were something very precious. It is. I looked at it, the order in which it is made. It's a wonderful thing. It's wintery here in Texas, except that it's spitting rain, not snow. I love the watercolory sky and the live oaks; the contrast between their black starkness against the soft sky is a wonder as well...there is an order to the branches, and each branch has branch lines within. It's that fractal thing that I love...pattern within pattern within pattern.

sorry 'bout that! :-D
Maybe it's the fractal thing?
Or, it's just me...I have many moments of not making sense. It's a gift. ;-)

So, does a description of who Gracie is fit into that definition, anywhere?

Surely....Gracie, my mutant yellow lab..she found the organic pine cone...which somes from the fractal pine trees...which remind me of the leaf-less oaks that are leaf-like in themselves...that remind me of fractal geometry...see? At least your blogs make sense!

I thought this post made perfect sense, Gracie and all! Graceful, detailed, compact, enjoyable. Many times I've gotten lost in the fractal wonders of trees, canyons, shorelines, relationships and holographic memories with connections to everything else.

Thanks, Larry! Yes yes! I know what you're talkin' about!

I'll stop to stare trancelike at something....and Gracie won't...and I end up walking, staring, and tripping over my own feet! It's a wonderful thing!

Yes, and did you notice the tree limbs are like the veins in our hands?

I like the word "fractual", but it makes my head feel fractious....

Christine....
Yup...!
Check this out...there's tons of stuff about fractals on the 'net. On this site, scroll down to the fern-leaf like aerial pic of Siberia....
