I read the WSJ opinion piece Karen and likened it to the Jeremiah Wright concerns that I still have. It seems that Obama does have a past checkered with a few questionable associations. He has come a long way in a short time and I think that it causes some of us to pause and not embrace his candidacy.

Of course the candidate on the other side of the aisle seems to be more of a cowboy than a maverick as he gives simplistic answers to complex problems. McCain's performance last week complete with assertations that our economic foundations are stable and threats to fire the SEC chairman just seemed a bit cowboyish and bizarre to me.

I don't know which one of these candidates scares me more.

I'd appreciate hearing your take on the WSJ article and the candidates. You are a wise person and seem to be an independent thinker.
