Man. So much suffering. Friends losing family. Friends losing jobs, but not bills. Friends having family troubles. Companies downsizing and closing plants. Friends who are sick and suffering. Running a prayer ministry is a blessing, yet can be difficult.
Sigh.
Does anyone have some good news to report? I'd really like to hear some good news.

Trying to live my last post....
Am I missing something here?
... oh! you are refering to your post on 17th Feb. I thought this is going to be your last post! LOL
You remind me of Jesus' saying - John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
Take heart - God is good and as the psalmist said "For the LORD loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. They will be protected forever,(Psalm 37:28a).
God bless you and all at home, his blessing are ever abundant.
Oops, Pearlie...I see what you mean. I better change that!
Thank you for your comment. Amen.
Blessings to you and yours, too, dear friend. Thank you for the sweet Christmas card, too--very special to me. I didn't get cards out this year! :-(
I love this journey that I am on. I don't "intend" to let the outside circumstances determine my inner joy.
this morning, i woke up in darkness and shortly after the sun rose. i reconnected this morning with a friend i haven't spoken to in some time. i heard birds singing, even though i could not see them. someone made me smile. all that and it's only 9:30AM. Can't wait for the rest of the day!
No answers here Karen..
Praying for you and Bob.
I'm going back to work Monday and they are happy that I asked for more hours.
I stood my ground against the almost ex today.
I have some good news! The "shaking" going on in people's lives is often God's way of transitioning people to higher places of dependence upon Him and effectiveness in the world around them. I embrace transition because I know my God is leading me from faith to faith and glory to glory. God is faithful!
Don, I keep trying that. I'll keep trying.
Ed...that was very inspiring!
Bob, I know. You actually helped me with the Good News and Lenten season. Praying.
Milly..GOOD for YOU!!
Mark...Thank you. That spoke to me. I am in agreement, completely.
Blog people rock, indeed. Thanks, guys. I needed to hear these things.
I got a new puppy. His name is Buster and he is mostly black. I'm thinking of renaming him Chaos cause he lays so peacefully but uses that to get himself wound up like a spring and bursts forth unexpectedly with boundless energy from that restful state. Then he manages to get into everything he possibly can. And then, just like s spring, his energy goes poof and he is restful again.
I love it!
Blessings
