Come out of the muck!

Some of us have been in the muddy pits....but let's let Him pull us out. You know He wants to!

Perfect remdiner, Karen. Thank you as always for your sensitive spirit and compassionate heart. I'm praying for all the muddy people out there. I'm crawling out of the muck slowly but surely.

He doesn't want us in the pits...I keep choosing the mud over the clear, clean, water!

The mud can be very tricky. It starts out not so deep and not that difficult to walk in, messy maybe. But the further we go in the mud, the deeper it gets, the harder it holds us in, until there is no way for us to get out. He has to lift us up and set us on the solid rock. Of course, with my nature, I'll soon be back in the mud. The mud can be very tricky.

Thanks for the reminder this morning Karen.

here's my favorite mud verse:

"I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the Lord."

Psalm 40: 1-3

Trace,
Don't you love that? I get a visual of a Dad pulling His kid up, brushing and cleaning 'em up, givin' 'em a kiss and sending 'em on their way! Thanks!
That's the psalm just quoted by my friend Bruce that kind of started it all:
